A complex test bench of 20m3 to characterize the performance of air treatment devices, bio-collectors and biosensors under experimental conditions that mimic different real-life environments :
- Generation of atmospheres contaminated with infectious viruses and complex microbiological mixtures (viruses, bacteria, molds)
- Option : supplement the nebulisation solution with biological fluids : saliva, mucus, …

A “one-pass” test bench consisting of an air stream 60 cm square and 800 cm long to characterize the performance of air treatment technologies or devices integrated into the ductwork of industrial ventilation systems (pharmaceutical, livestock, building public access, etc.).
VirexpR has designed this test bench in line with ISO 15714:2019 recommendations, and has adapted it to handle aerosolized infectious viruses.
The technical specifications of this air stream make it possible to:
- Modulate and monitor flow velocity (flow rate up to 3000m3/h)
- Perform upstream nebulization of infectious virus suspensions (class 2 and class 3) and mixtures of pathogenic microorganisms (bacteria, molds, phages, etc.),
- Perform downstream bio-collection and quantification of residual viruses and infectious microorganisms
- Evaluate in a single pass the performance of technologies (filters, UV, photocatalysis, etc.) and air treatment devices integrated into the ducts of industrial ventilation systems (pharmaceutical, livestock, building public access, etc.).
VirexpR also offers a custom engineering service to adapt the technology or air treatment device to be evaluated for integration between the two sections of the “one pass” test bench.
